Bedding

— Thank you the mattress arrived last week, we love it. It's the first of it's kind we've ever had and I already feel more awake when I wake up in the morning if that makes sense! Plus, I'm not going numb down my side when I fall asleep. We are considering a topper for the future. Love the fact that it will be light enough for me to move outside to air. The organic cotton protector is absolutely first class! I've never seen such a tight weave - no dustmite would even bother trying to bury itself in there! (We also feel good about making an ethical purchase with Mr Rudd's handout ) Bonnie

We are so very thrilled with all our purchases from Blessed Earth - the bed and mattress in particular as our sons previous bed had a permanent chemical smell and when he woke up the smell would be in his hair and skin - very worrying. "I have enjoyed sleeping on my new mattress and bedding from Blessed Earth (purchased March 2007 from your business when located in Selby) during this last hot summer. The wool mattress, protector, wool topper, pillow, pillow slips and sheets made all the difference between the hot, sticky, restless nights I used to have in summer and the comfort and relaxation I experienced during this summer. I now have a generally much more comfortable bed than I used to have. I was concerned that the new mattress might quickly sag and become as unsupportive as my previous mattresses. I adore the wool pillows - it seems as though I am resting my head on a soft cloud.I have had issues with pillows in the past,all being too firm, too soft or causing me neck problems and I have had to return to my contoured feather pillow, but not with Blessed Earth wool pillows. The old feather pillow has gone to the Salvation Army and I seem to be having less problems with my hayfever prone nose. I am also loving the nighties, they are just so soft and comfortable, I highly doubt that I will be returning to my old nightwear!!! I look forward to continuing to buy more of your wonderful products, in particular the bedding, hopefully my next big purchase will be a wool mattress as both my partner and I suffer from lower back problems. "I purchased my first bra from you at the Mind Body Spirit festival in Brisbane over 12 months ago. (it is now Sept. '08) and although the bra has stretched a bit it still goes back to its original shape when washed. It is a little stained from (honest) sweat but that's better than having some chemical whitener in it. It does not have any sign of wear, meaning thin patches or stretched shoulder straps. I now have a total of 3 so it does get a wash now and then !! They are still the best bras I have ever worn and when, ( if ever,!) they wear out, I know where I'll be going for new ones ! "Hi. I just put on my new 'Jane's Plus Cup Bra'. Simply heaven! I have been in pain from fibrocystic breasts for a long time and 'normal' bras just make it worse, blocking my lymphatic circulation and cutting into my shoulders, causing an almost permanent headache. I am a well-endowed DD cup and thought I'd be stuck in underwire and uncomfortable elastic forever, but this bra gives me all the support I need and is uplifting in every sense of the word! We really appreciate being able to buy chemical-free clothing that is also child-appropriate - ie no action figures, ugly colours or sexualised designs...The quality of the clothes is just fantastic. Unfortunately, the first two pieces I bought didn't quite fit me. I contacted Radha who was courteous, even apologetic, and we painlessly organised a speedy postage paid exchange.
