Wool Toppers
The "Topper" is also referred to as an under-quilt or under-blanket.
It is a separate pad, the same size as the top of your mattress, which fits on top of the mattress and is held firmly in place with elastic loops.
It’s main fuctions are to provide comfort; to prolong the life of the mattress; and to provide an organic barrier in the event that the mattress is toxic. It can also add years to the usability of a tired old mattress if need be.
